Man charged with murder after woman killed on Bourbon Street: report

A 33-year-old man was in jail Thursday morning (May 16) on charges related to the fatal shooting of a woman on Bourbon Street, according to a report from The New Orleans Advocate.

Alexander Kirby, 33, was charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of aggravated assault, the Advocate said.

Officials told the Advocate that Kirby’s charges are related to the woman’s killing.
