Man shot in West Lake neighborhood Friday: NOPD

A man was wounded during a shooting at around 12:45 a.m. on Friday (May 10), according to the New Orleans police.

The shooting took place in the 6800 block of Parc Brittany Boulevard in the West Lake neighborhood in New Orleans East.

The man sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital by EMS. Police did not provide additional details at the time about his condition.
