A shooting was reported in the New Orleans East neighborhood of Little Woods on Sunday, June 2, 2019, New Orleans police said.

New Orleans police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting late Sunday (June 2) in the New Orleans East neighborhood of Little Woods.

The shooting was reported near the corner of Bunker Hill Road and Yorktown Drive, police said. The man was “shot to the body” and brought to a local hospital via EMS, police said.

Neither the person’s medical condition nor age were immediately available.
