Cristobal is now well to the North. We had rainbands in the area today, but they are beginning to lift north too. Strong south wind overnight caused about a 3 foot storm surge on the Northshore. Strong North Wind Sunday caused about a 3 foot storm surge on the South Shore at the Lakefront.
Some of the area got heavy rainfall. Doppler indicated 7 inches near Chalmette, close to 4" at Harvey and 5.5" Gretna. Doppler indicated about 3" fell on the Northshore. Doppler indicated 6" to 10.4" on the Mississippi Coast.
