A trough of low pressure off the Coast will give us off and on rain this weekend as it moves to the West. There is a 20-30% chance for tropical development in the West Gulf.
Tropical Depression 19 will move towards the North Central Coast Monday. It will slowly move toward the WNW and may cause heavy rainfall along the coast of Florida into Alabama and Mississippi and eventually SE Louisiana. Expect tropical force winds along the North Central Coast Monday through Tuesday. There will also be the potential for an increase in water levels along the coast. This is a system to monitor as there may be changes. The weather is going to be changing quickly. This is not the time (Monday-Tuesday) to be driving I-10 between New Orleans and say Pensacola without checking the weather beforehand.
